Setting the bead

About to change the rear tire. Anyone have any tips on setting the bead? I've used starter fluid for lawn mower tires and such, but haven't changed a tire this big.

remove the valve core and fill.i havent had any problems using my small compressor to seat the bead.

Simple, put air in it and they seat themselves most of the time.

Technically your suppose to bring the psi up above 35 then down below 20 then back up to recommend pressure... I've worked at a tire shop for the last 6 years.
