Question...I have to wear tan boots with my uniform...and due to the shifter on my Scg...I now have a nice black mark on my boot where I do all the shifting... I've looked, but I'm new to all this... Are there any after market all metal shifters out there?

Thanks!

Yes there are aftermarket shifters.

Billet makes some pretty nice ones, in addition to a factory shifter from Buell.

Great thanks, I looked it up based on the company you provided...and found it at precision engineering. It looks real nice. Thanks for the advice.

there are also shifter protectors which you can place on your boot or like a sock that fits your shifter.

if i'm not mistaking there's a thread around here about the sock, think fido has one.

here's some links

wow, I understand the OP's legitimate problem, but those products look like they're for someone who's not proud to ride. Jeez what's next? Some additive so your exhaust smells like cologne?

Mac-that all depends on who you're trying to pick up [cool]

Yeah i'd suggest the little cover that goes over the rubber piece, much cheaper and no black spots to show for it

they make additives to your gas that make it smell fruity and other scents. i think jp cycles sells them[smirk]
