So im bored and with nothing else to do what is the best way to shine up a 2003race can? and what do i need to take it off?

You'll need to at least take off the chin fairing to get to it. Then you can either clean up what you can see, or else remove the 3 exhaust straps and unclamp it from the header and it'll come right off. I usually clean mine up with wd40.

WD-40 and aluminum wheel polish. Someone just did it and it looked like it came out great. Clean id off using WD-40, wipe clean, then polish it up.

sweet now all i have to do is figure out weather i want to take the muffler off or leave it on just because it looks like the exhaust clamp to header isn't going to like it when i go and try to loosen it from the rust. Any tips on this?

use some wd-40 on the clamp to lol. Are if your not far from an auto parts store just get some p-b blaster spray that on the clamp and let it sit for a little then it should loosen right up

The header clamps clean up nicely. The only thing that doesn't clean up easily is that concave spacer. I wouldn't worry about pulling it off.

I just left the muffler on and used the Flitz polish on it and my polished wheel lips. Turned out great! Mine is an 03' as well.

i eventually just took it off and painted 3 coats of rustolium high temp engin paint...now its black
