@ flaya-The stripper alone left a dull, sandblasted look. I've got the polishing gear and did it myself. Buffing wheels and a couple different grades of compound.
@ browland- it took a little reshaping of the 'grater to get it to conform to the cover and then I just used black silicone to glue it in place.
