Well it seems my stator completley went to ****. Had to get trailered home from a poker run i was doing. Question is should i do it myself or pay a shop to do it? I do have a mechanical back ground went to wyotech for auto mechanics. But working on a bike has its differences. I really dont wanna pay a shop a **** ton in labor for something i might be able to do. Whats y'alls oppinions? Also should i redo my clutch as long as i got it apart?

By a buell manual and do everything yourself. Motorcycles are a lot easier than cars!

it's a real simple job. i takes me about a hour and a half to do. just make sure you have wire crimps and a soldering gun for the new reg to stator plug.

make sure you hang and tie the primery cover off to the side instead of removing the clutch cable. it will lower the risk of you breaking the cast on the clutch cable.
good luck.
