Short guy looking for a LOWERING solution

I bought a 09 XB12R and Im getting sick of being short and my bike falling over in my garage, parking lot, etc... Looking for a solution to lower my bike without looking ridiculous and being expensive. Im kind of stumped right now about my bike height also. My buddy has a 600rr and I can touch the ground flat footed with both feet. On the Buell I'm one-footing it or tip toeing around, I'm not comfortable with this as for what happens if I tip over in traffic = 50/50 Hospital Reservation. I guess I should also say that neither my bike or my buddies have had the suspension adjusted away from stock.

The specifications on both websites, Buell and Honda, list the the Buell as having a height of 31.9(unlaiden)/30.5(laiden) and the Honda 32.3. How does this work. I'm sure I am sounding like a damn goon but just trying to get some good advice. Thanks
