I have a shortened stock shock and a shaved down stock seat for sale for a Buell 1125.
The shock has a spacer kit from race tech installed in it - It basically limits the extension of the shock shaft and lowers the rear of the bike by around one inch. I cut down the spring preload collar a bit to try to keep the spring preload range as close to stock as possible.
The seat has quite a bit of the foam shaved out (if I remember correctly it originally had close to 2" of foam towards the front of the seat) I have it shaved down to probably a half inch or so in the front.
With this combination my wife (5'2") could touch the ground fairly well - I bought a new bike and had plans to sell the Buell - she piped up and said that she wanted me to keep it so that she could start riding. I bought a spare shock and seat and went to work trying to get it to where she could touch the ground. I ended up with this setup (also lowered the front end 1" as well by sliding the forks up in the triple clamp) and I rode it around for a week or so and it seemed to handle just fine - the bike ended up sitting around for about six months waiting for her to take the MSF course and start riding but it never happened and she lost interest so I put the bike back to stock height and sold it
Would like to get $150 (plus Shipping) for both items
Call or text me with any questions - I will post pics soon
