Picked up a set of pazzo shorty's for my xb9 this afternoon. Has anyone done this mod? Any help with the install (instructions) would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty straight forward realy and i'm a muppit when it comes to this stuff.
Put mine on a while back but from what i remember its just swap out with no headaches.
I like them alot.

Like Hover said, anyone can do it with some basic hand tools. Did mine in no time at all. One tip, is when you've got your old clutch cable off, put the ferrule in the Pazzo first - and then proceed. You're going to love 'em. :D[up]

just be careful if you ride with a bunch of people they are all gonna go touch them in amazement and ask tons of questions and then say they want them haha.

I love em... going for the streetfighter look. Just sucks i have to go back home to England and Europe to get most of the after market parts.
Here's a pic of the bars with the airbox off.

They look just like the ones I used to have on my dirtbike. They also look very good on That bike, and since mine's the same color combo I might have to get some more.

Protaper low rises fat bars
Had to order the raiser from presision engineering.
Bought them from an online company called thumpertalk who just happen to be based here in Vegas

I just put Pazzo shorties on my 12R last week. They look incredible. Install should take you less than 10 minutes. One bolt on each lever.

Here's a few shots of mine.

Old lever (Buell goldies) and the Pazzo:

They look pretty sick, IMO.

ah nice.. looks like you're running the 1" riser. did you have any issues with the clutch cable length and the brake line?

I just got CRG's for my 04, have you guys paid attention to the bolts involved? Are yours haggard hex-heads with nuts on the back? I have a feeling the previous owner lost and replaced the stock screws with crappy ones from his "misc." drawer...

(#3) is Clutch Bolt Assbly. I believe the nut has a nylon collar to prevent loosening.

(#16 & #9) make up the Brake Bolt Assbly. Nut has a nylon collar to prevent loosening.

Hey Marko138, What did you end up doing with your old levers? Would you be willing to sell them. I like the gold levers and I just broke mine...

I still have them as back up...but I could part with them. However, I must say, the clutch lever is a bit worn down from a low side. The brake it perfect. If you still want them we could probly work something out.

Ya even if its worn down they look better than mine right now haha. And sweet my brake was the one I broke. I'm willing to negotiate.

steven, thanks for the diagram.

all, appreciate all the input!

do i need to use any lub? any brand in particular?

I used a little Loctite on the nuts. Also put a little grease around the "body" of the bolts where the levers are rotated around them just for good measure.

Edit: I also put grease lightly on the places where it was obvious the levers would be rubbing when pulled in & out.
