... Do a TPS reset? Iv had my 12R for a little over a year now and haven't personally done a TPS reset. I would assume its been done in the shop one of the times I'v had her in but you know what they say about assumptions.

You know what they say if it aint broke, dont fix it. But would I see any gains by resetting the TPS?

I guess it goes by preferance. Like you said if it ain't broke don't fix it, but routine check ups are done all the time like checking fluid levels, checking tire pressure, cleaning out your filter....

I would reset it once you feel like it and have the time, it may not be important but something that should probably be check now and again.

Mine never did adjust down to 0.0 and seems to stop 1.5 or something (from memory) Ive had the whole motor in pieces, put it back together and turned the key NO dramas.... In fact ive never reset it. Ive never even had to adjust the idle. Maybe im lucky but I was always confused why people like to reset the tps sensor so much.... Unless you have changed the computer that is

i do a tps reset everytime i change my oil, just caus i can and its easy.
