Size of forks

Does anyone know what the exact diameter of the upper portion of the forks are between top and bottom tree clamps on an 05 XB12R?
I know the website says 43mm but since they are inverted I just want to make sure. I am thinking of getting some brackets to mount on my forks and don't want to buy the wrong size.

YOUR XB12R?

Then it should not be too difficult to measure.

43mm is the size of the portion of the fork that slides. and i think the tube is tapered between the two trees iirc but get some dial calipers and measure it.

Thanks. yeah obviously if I own the bike you would think I should be able to measure it but its in the shop and I am at work so I was just hoping someone knew so I could order them and they would arrive by the time my bike is done.

I'm sorry But can someone please fill me in on what size fork mount brackets will fit my 05 XB12R? I would just go out tot the garage and measure myself but the bike is in the shop and I want to order some before I get it back. I know they taper so the thick points under the top trip tree and right above the bottom trip tree is where I will use the mounts. any help would be greatly appreciated.
