Let the bashing begin but in the end I am happy with the results.

I used an Scg rear shock setup and slipped the front forks. I know the slip is unsafe but I am making it a point to pay extra attention to the clamps to make sure no slippage is happening. oh just mentioned I put roughly 100 miles on the bike since I lowered it and not one slight slip so far.

Also I added the rear license plate light from my girlfriend Lightning.

So take a look and tell me how it is.

Also I have an extra kick stand that I will be cutting down since the one on it is to long now.

the light is the stock light off a Lightning.

I just drilled and mounted it to my under tail since my license plate light is nodda since I have the LED brake/turns.

looks extremely low. i like it. those air scoops are sweet! how does that mini race pipe sound compared to the reg. race pipe?[up]

Great call on the new wheels Xtreme, they really complement the bike. I think it looks great. You hit the twisites with it yet?

Muffler took some getting use to, I was going to put my full size race pipe on but like the short look. Overall it sounds better at low RPM's but has a bit of a hollow rap up top.

Hit some solid turns but truthfully with it lowered I instantly noticed a difference in the rear. I may just need to set up the rear shock a little better but as soon as I put on the Scg shock I could tell a difference.

The biggest difference can be seen in the distance between the fairing and fender, but here are a couple side by sides to compare. I love the look and since I just got my S tail today all I am waiting on is some stuff in the mail for mocking up my Ss swing arm swap then off to powder coat and install.

Looks great man.

Will you ahve to worry about the license plate grabbin that tire if you hit a hefty bump?

I dig what you've done so far, Keep it up

Nope did some jumping up and down on it to see how good the integrity of the forks were and to see what type of clearance I have between the tire and plate and it is perfect.

If for some reason I hit a massive bump the plate is already tilting the way the tire will grab and take it so it would only bend it in a little more.

$14, I had to ship mine out, so all that was the shipping. I traded a guy straight up one for one. He has the Scg and it was too low so we swapped out since I had an extra R shock which he could use and I wanted the Scg shock.

oh stop it now,

He is probably just wondering "Why and hell did Extreme slip the forks?", oh wait he rarely listens to anyone. Answered it for ya Dave.

Forgot to add this comparison. Just needs to get all the parts in the mail and powder coat them. I could toss on my S tail but it needs to be chopped and painted so I will just save myself the work and mount it when it is all done.

Getting closer

Depends to lower my bike cost me $14 for shipping the shock and since all the things I needed I was able to trade guys straight up.

As far as lowering the difficulty it is simple. But the swingarm if you are intestested in that is much more in depth.
