Slop in kickstand?

Is there supposed to be some slop in the kickstand? Or is this a sigh the pin is about to go?

04 12s with orginal kickstand pin not upgraded one.

a little from normal wear and tear, but if it is not upgraded, I would change it just for piece of mind

Lean it up against something and take the bolt out. There is some slop in there, but it would be kosher to check, and not come out from somewhere and find yer scoot layin on it's side. Mine was leaning at different angles all the time. When I checked it, I just pulled the bolt right out. Threads were broken off the end. Check it pronto! My .02.

The bolt may be loose as well, mine backed off every couple thousand miles almost completely and I had to thread it back in. Finally got nervous enough and upgraded to the pin.
