Sluggish @ 4k-5k RPM

After the install of the Drummer and K&N (stock ECM), the XB12R craps out at around 4-5k RPM. It just seems to lose all power. Do I need to completely remove the active exhaust deal? Could that be the culprit?

If I get the EBR ECM, do I still need to tune it?

not if it's tuned for your setup. i dont know if it is though, not familiar with it.

No matter what tune comes on the EBR ecm it will run better than it does now, but optimum if you get the right tune.[up]
