Smaller rear fender for my STT?

Hey gang - I wanna get rid of the big/ugly rear fender and belt guard on my STT, which is a one piece deal. I see many people have a shorter fender with no upper belt guard - that's what I want. QUESTION: do I need to search for SS model parts for my STT swingarm?? Then, where to find it? I see at Americansportbike they have a XB12s little fender, but nothing for the SS (nor STT for that matter). Thanks

From what I've seen and read, there is no shorty Ss cover, like the one you're looking for. Unfortunetly, the shorty fenders only fit the S and SCG, both of which will not fit the Ss swingarm, which is the same as the STT, as it is too long (54" wheelbase vs. 51").

There is one onebay from China. I bought it and it does not fit well at all. I am waiting till tomorrow to get some pics of it installed to send to the people I got it from. It looks good but it hits the rear tire. I'll post pic tomorrow when I get it on the bike. Not sure if it can be adjusted to fit better.

Ah that would stink if I can't find some smaller style fender for the rear, seems like it must exist somewhere. If not, guess that means its time for some good ole ingenuity and cutting with the dremel to size that ugly thing down a bit.
