So I walked into the local HD Dealer today with my Buell gear on of course!

I went and browsed around today at the local HD dealership and came across a blacked out softtail with a 103ci engine that was supercharged. So I started to BS with dude and they were hoping to see 160-170 hp with this thing on all stock internals except for cams. So I asked him how much they put out stock...he says only about 75hp at the wheel. I said well hell my lil 984cc BUELL makes about 85hp give or take a few, and I seen a turboed xb12 makin 180hp. I had a touch of a smile on my face the whole time. So I asked him what was the price tag to have HD put a supercharger on a bike...he said $12,000...WTF!! I laughed and said you have a good day! Those big twin guys get so pissed when their cubic inches can't match our cc's in HP...Another reason I <3 MY BUELL! LOL

HD = no HP

It's pretty impressive that Erik was able to take a 40hp tractor engine and turn it into a 92hp sport bike engine that actually performs well, and looks BA. Yeah it's not going to win the race but it is impressive considering what he had to work with, and does well. Makes for the ultimate street bike.
