if you bike sounds like there is something knocking on the left hand side in the primary pull the cover off and red locktight and tighten the nut keeping the front engine sproket on, mine came loose the other day and found out its one of the leading causes of the crank pin breaking. sorry i didnt take any pictures of the job but it was a pretty straight forward process on how to fix it.

I too would like this. I had heard a noise for a while and I've suspected it's coming from my primary. I am about to replace the clutch cable, new primary oil, so while I'm at it I might as well tighten this nut up also. :) Thanks.
 
all it is is a nut on thed end of the crank holding on the front engine sproket. look at figure on page 6.5 of the service manual its the nut in the middle of the left sproket.
