That side mounted propane tank mod is genius!! I'm considering doing it to my bike. Might go for a bigger tank though, and I'm not sure how I feel about bungie cords though... I'll probably just use duct tape

Glad you got it back! Doesn't look like it'll cost too much to fix her.up. I got my bike stolen in October and got it back in November. Unfortunately the pos ran from the cops and wrecked it. Took me about 400 bucks to fix it

I never have to go far to be reminded why I love this community so much.

I have to say thanks to Xopti, he made this post after seeing random pictures on my facebook wall. With all the help he's given me I owe him a lot. If you guys need a cable, buy it from him. He backs our community and is always willing to help. He's a busy guy and I pester him about his bikes a lot (I think I did even more so after mine was stolen), but he definitely goes above and beyond for us.


(I couldn't take a screen shot of all the times people were helping me look and letting me know when parts popped up that looked like mine, there were many and they meant a ton to me. I even had a guy I've never ridden with help me get her home just because of this forum. Tons of people checked in with me frequently to see if anything popped up and I thank them all, Max, Donnie, Stephen, and all my Buelligans)

[up] if you need a ignition switch plug I have a brand new one I'm not using. It's yours if you need it. Hopefully they just cut the wires from the ignition to put a kill switch in and left your actual ignition mechanically sound. Let me know.

Yeah. They cut the pigtail off of the harness. I have more harnesses though. No worries.

All these "changes" made to the bike look like symptoms of meth abuse! Only a meth head would convince himself that it would be ok to bungee a highly flamable gas TO THE SIDE OF THE MOTOR! The hottest part of the bike!

oddly enough that actually was my football number. I have no idea what it was to them though.


And I got my exhaust gaskets and new stud nuts today, so I might rip her apart tomorrow so that I can ride her sooner rather than later.

So I decided to bit the bullet on a new igniton and ordered an M-lock. I know it's been on here a few times so I'm not going into detail about how it works.
