Someone Stole My Helmet

I was at the Cycle Gear store in Mesa AZ for like 10 minutes looking for some new gear. Come out and my helmet was GONE!

I figured of all places, a motorcycle shop coupled with my short time in the store that I'd be safe from Douchers jackin my gear.

Life Lesson #321 - Lock you gear up, or take it with you. Meth Heads steel anything. Even Sweaty nasty helmets.

What did it look like. Ive gotta few friends in your area. Might be able to keep an eye out for ya.

It's a Harley Davidson (HJC) full face modular helmet. Looks like this:

I've got riding buddies that leave thier helmets sitting on thier bikes all the time. I finally got a decent helmet so I always take it with me, I guess I'm just naturally distrusing [smirk]

Well, being at a motorcycle gear store I made the assumption that the other bikers there were decent enough and knew the biker code. "Don't F### with another man's bike"

Its more like someone going to get a new helmet and notices that he doesn't have to pay for one.. someone donated one at the front door lol... j/k sorry for your loss its a bummer

Thanks, but I have used the thing like one time since its completion. I still carry my helmet in most places. Its kinda like (hey look at me, I have a motorcycle)

Trill, If my helmet were new, I'd totally agree with you.

But I live in Phoenix, and I sweat like a mofo when it's 100+ degrees. My helmet probably smelled like gym socks. LOL

Oh well, Lesson learned.

No one really knows who he is, so in the picture with me, because I'm standing next to him, we know that I'm not the Stig. He is the "control" for the BBC show Top Gear. The character is played by several famous race car drivers. Basically, whenever they want to see how fast a car is, they have the stig take it around their track. Because it's the same person, same track, they know how the cars compare.
