Levidove, I'm over in the Sumter SC area. I'm deployed at the moment, but I'll be back this summer. Looks like you're over near the mountains...must be some great riding over your way!!

Yeah there's some great mountain riding only like 30-45 minutes from me. What kind of buell you got?

I picked up an 04 XB12S Lightning last summer. I also ride a BMW R1200RT, but in this warm SC weather I find I prefer to ride the Buell around. It's just a REALLY fun little bike to ride; makes me remember why I started riding in the first place! But my wife prefers the RT for obvious reasons (seat)! I haven't gotten the Buell over to the mountains yet, but I really hope to when I back this summer. What model of Buell are you riding??

I'm afraid I won't be back yet. Is this something that is done every year?? Sounds like it would be a great time. I know the riding will be great for sure! Any idea how many people typically show?? Thanks for the info!

We should get together and ride sometime. We could maybe meet in Greenville. How far are you from there?

Just in case you guys didn't notice the thread below, there's a Buell meet fairly close by in Little Switzerland, NC next month: http://www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?53376-Buells-in-the-Alps-SEVEN

This meet was started by 5 Buell riders from SC. Come on up for the day Saturday or stay the whole weekend if you can.

BTW- I'm located in the lowcountry of SC, about half way between Florence and Charleston.
