I was on my way to an appointment this morning in Palm Springs. I was in my car and when I made a left turn, there sat a fellow Bueller at the red light. All that I could actually notice was that it was a Lightning XB with amber wheels... Too bad I was in my car - if I had my Firebolt I would have skipped the appointment for a chance to meet another Bueller! My question to that rider would be "why aren't you on our forum?" and "when do you wanna ride?"

Hmm.. not a big response. I'm just a dude out in the desert, but I still want to meet up. My deal is I'm working extra hours for the rest of the summer - only been off every other Sunday. Crazy, but it's helping out with bill right now. I also want new tires and a new drive belt before I do anything farther than a cross town trip. I'm looking more at October before I can get with a group. Besides it's been like 110+ here... too hot for the baby (and my legs)! If you guys can get a plan, go for it. I will join you at a later date.

03 white firebolt xb9r, after buying it i thought it was cleaner than normal, but after looking at some of these on here... im ashamed if how dirty she is and trying new things to bring wheels back to life cleaning cooling fins just want it to look like new. and of course learn how to ride it better.

joebuell: Evidently we're an uncommon lot. My girlfriend says shes never seen another Buell in the area. And here I was thinking I'd be a special snowflake...

Definitely going to hit palomar, Ortega, and Angels Crest on a weekly basis once I get there if anyone wants to tag along, and doesn't mind her CBR600.

I have no prob riding with new riders. Just go at your own pace/speed/cornering. Its your life not anyone elses so screw anyone that gives you crap about being slow etc. Im down too ride anytime Fri/Sat.

Next week I have 4 days off so perfect time. Let me know if you guys wanna do a palomar run.

I am down for Palomar since I have yet to go with anyone there. Also, a buddy of mine (he rides a gs650) and I were going to take a small ride over to coronado on a nice day and grab some brews at the ale house. If anyone wants to do that tag along!

EmptyChambers - yes! we are an uncommon bunch! Every now and then, I will see another Buell around, but not often enough. Case in point; the other day a guy asked me what I rode so I told him. His response was "Oh no way! I've seen those on YouTube. They are f***ing badass."
