La Mesa area over here!

I ride at 2003 Buell XB9SL which I wrecked 3 weeks ago heading 8 east exiting the chicane which runs under the 15 heading toward Fairmount Ave.

I'm down to meet up for a ride if we can get something going. I'm all healed up and the bike should be fixed within the next 2 weeks.

I know it well, jigs a bit to the left, then jags a bit to the right and with fools trying to cross over in front of you, one needs to be cautious.

I'm doing an overnight ride up to Idyllwild this weekend. First time really using my saddlebags. Should be a good trip with my brother on his Sportster if he can keep up.

If a bunch of local Buell riders want to get together and meet at my house on a weekend day, I can do a group tuning session (everyone needs their own laptop and cable) and give everyone a huge discount.

This is something that needs to happen. The tuning is pretty overwhelming for me since I've never done anything like it before. Count me in. Let's get this going in the next couple months as it cools off.

How about next Sunday, the 23rd meet up in the parking lot of ASB @ 8 or 9am, if that would work for anyone? 'til then, during the week we can discuss a route to take, lunch and fuel stops.

ahah! there are other riders around LA [up]

i'm in Gardena but i haven't seen any other buells around... of course college classes keep my riding pretty restricted to around town, up and down the 405, and the occasional trip up and down san pedro ( twistiest roads i've had time to tackle so far... [sad])

Burbank.... just came back from New Combs Ranch of angeles crest and I saw not one other buell up there and of course on the way back down some A hole had to pass me on the right which pisses me off WTF is the hurry with these guys that feel they have to push the limit of their bikes keeping up with the pack and endanger the lifes of riders they come up on. I had no clue until this dude was in my mirror then on my right going into a left hand corner..

I think I saw you on your way up. It was towards the bottom. I had pulled over to wait for a friend. There was a 12 s with cherry bomb wheels parked up at the ranch around 8:30

Dawgwalker, if you had gotten up there earlier you would have seen the massive bear that was hanging out above the parking lot.

So we gonna do a ride or what guys? I think I may have one coming up in October. My brother and his room mate are into the bicycling scene and want me to ride up to Palm Springs with them for a race; they said I could be their support crew haha. Anyone interested?
