yea i dont know i put this new exhaust on and i lost all my low end . . . i mean you all can hammer on it in 2nd and the front end will pop up right? i need to put this jardine i have sitting in a box on and get my power back cause that was embarrassing

A Buell in the Straight line....you'll probably get embarrased. A Buell in the "twisties", they'll be rushing to catch a glimpse of your taillight. It's all about what your heart desires.

Your gonna get spanked regardless. I ride with a guy who has a GSXR 1000 and he plays with me. We were messin around one time, I got him off the light for maybe 50-75ft, he passed me on 1 wheel with a passenger . Hell, his bike will hit near 100 in 3rd gear!!! But thats not what its about right [cool]

I have an 07 xb9r with the buell race kit and my friend has a 06 gxr600 with a slip on and it was dead even intill 100 or so but thru the mt rainer twistes i kick his ash i had to slow down and wait for him like eric says its the perfect back roads bike

Iv never went head up with a CBR, but my buddy rides my old '96 FZR600R and I rape that bike in any case. Granted its an old discontinued design but... BUELL PREVAILS!!!

lol thats always good news . . . yea i lost so much power from this pipe i put on . . he pulled on me like i was nothing i know they are fast but the buell should hang with a cbr 600

its just a home made muffler . . . basically and echo tube with a downpipe on it

that one . . i lost so much back pressure from it . . . any ideas of how to get more backpressure from an exhaust lol?

600 jap = 125hp and high tens

1200 Buell = 103hp and mid to high 11's

Bottom line you lose.


Also, our bikes handle well, BUT to claim a R6 or 750GSXR will be lost to you in the turns is simply untrue. Those bikes handle extremely well and are very smooth.

The rider makes a big difference in both the straight line and in the twisties.

when i rode an r6 it felt funny in the turns lol ill be honest i didnt feel stable guess you just gotta get use to it
