Spare parts to stock?

I know Buells aren't made anymore so I am assuming certain OEM spare parts are going to be harder to get. What, if any, spare parts should I stock up on? What got me thinking is that I tried to find a rear brake line for my 09 xb12r and couldn't (manual says to replace lines every two years but there is only 2k miles on the bike). I don't mind spending a little more money now if it saves me a lot of headache in the long run trying to track down parts.

Thanks

as in brake hoses? whoever authored that in a repair manual should be spanked. totally unnecessary.
other than perhaps a specific body part that you "just have" possess as a spare, i wouldn't stockpile any XB parts whatsoever. between the OEM suppliers, the aftermarket, and the repop community every part will always be available and if not, will be quickly replicated to fill the void. ask any HRD Vincent or Kawasaki Triple owner what i mean and they'll verify.

they got line tools that can make any line you would ever need.. Buell didn't make any of that.. they bought them. (From Nissin I believe) Besides,, Harley still sell everything for XBs that you would ever need.

Except the Harley Dealer near me. It's a huge one too! Treasure coast Harley can't (not won't...can't) order ANY Buell parts, and the closest is 2 hours away[sad]
I'd get a set of body parts, triple clamp, some wheels, pair of heads, a "gas tank", and an "oil tank". You could build one from scratch with those items.

There probably not a Buell dealer...not all HD/Buell dealers renewed their Buell dealer's lisence.

Thanks for the responses. It makes me feel a little better knowing that parts should be around while. Atleast while i own it (hopefully for a long time).
