basically i've got one evening to fix my bike before i go out of town so i don't have time to order spark plug wires online or travel any sort of distance. this leaves me with the local HD dealer who DOES NOT sell or service Buells.

does anyone know if their 'screaming eagle' line of parts would have a combatible wire for my bike? what is the difference in spark plug wires anyway besides length, core and diameter? i.e. are the connecting 'ends' varied?

From what the Harley Tec told me on the phone a few weeks ago when I was searching for a set myself was no. Its a carbon core not a wire core because of the sensitivity of the Buell FI system. A wire core could give off a RF signal that could mess with the sensors in the bike. Keep checking though, Im sure someone has used a aftermarket brand with success.

Normaly the only wires that are HD compatible are cables like HDMI, DVI, Component, Sometimes VGA, HD-SDI, and fiber. :D

sorry. I have video on the mind

I dunno, I haven't tried replacing mine yet, but the idea that the Buell FI system is more susceptible to noise seems kind of weird.

I would think that a set off any FI harley would work just peachy.
