Spark Plug Wires

2007 XB12X - looking for the part number for oem wires, and/or any aftermarket set anyone has had had good luck with.

ASB offers them but i prefer to save the old wires, remove the end connectors and boots and reinstall those pieces over new wire which is available at any decent parts house. or contact me and i'll send you enough wire to do the job.

Taylor wires are high quality, good looking and commonly available. I have them on my '99 S3 as well as my '71 GTO.

Thought I'd end up putting a set together, but had to ask. I did some searching, hadn't found much, and I might have been too specific on ASB, plug wires didn't bring anything up.

Iron Machine sells Taylor wires for Buells,they are a bitch to get on though.ASB sells stock ones and are faster than my local HD dealer, who charges more and takes three weeks to get

I'd prefer a longer wire with a 90 deg boot for my XB. The stock boots with the slight bend give almost no leverage. Getting the end to 'snap' onto the top of the plug will test your patience. I may consider making my own next time unless someone knows of a direct replacement that will fit the coil.

Just a question...are you guys using dielectric grease on the boots when you put them on? Makes it a little easier.

^Nice find djohn, but 30 bucks a pair? Ouch. For comparison, I've no idea what HD wants for a factory set.

Absolutely [up] I use it on every electrical connection, to prevent corrosion.
