Special O.P.S. exhaust...

Has anyone purchased a Special O.P.S. exhaust over the last couple of months?

I'm trying to find out if Odie is still making them.

I have emailed him but no response. Just trying to figure out if I should follow up or move on.

I wonder if he's even still alive. I've sent multiple emails trying to buy heat shields going back to June and haven't heard a thing back. Hopefully all is well. Would be nice to get a response.

From what I've read over the last three years, his response times are getting longer and longer. Even though I love my Spec-ops exhaust and his heat shield is nice, I wouldn't order anything else from him. Just bad/poor customer communication.

I was also interested in getting his heat shields, that was around a half a year ago and I was finding he wasn't responding to customers so I ditched the will to get them.

I've pretty much given up hope. Anyone want to let me borrow their heat shield? I work with some upholsterers. Maybe we can get a template together and get some more made.

Dude, if you only knew how busy I am... I should stop running specials to make people happy. Just gave away a ceramic coating job. Yeah, just because it's Christmas and the lady asked nicely.

I had mine done in 2010. Then he was pretty good with communication. Took i think around 2 months.
Looked good. Sound sucked. I couldnt ride much more than 30 minutes and my ears were ringing. Sounded like a gutted stock muffler (which essentially it was). I had to open it up and modify it myself to get the right sound.

Still haven't received any response from Odie about this exhaust though.

I had his pipe back in 07/08 and cruising at 2000 rpms made the sweetest sound.

He has 3 jobs, so I think he neglects the Special Ops portion from time to time.

It was a little too loud and raspy when I started leaving for work real early. So went back to race pipe. Then drummer, then back to race then back to drummer and now I've got a Torque Hammer to install (eventually, when I finally tear the motor down)

Anybody with an underseat heat shield down for the winter? I want to borrow one to make a template. I'd pay for shipping both ways and you'd have it back as quickly as possible.
