does anyone have or no about changing the cams in our bikes ,tha shop who was tryna convince me not do the turbo kit on a buell said that a set of cams would wake our engines up really well ,does anybody no someone who has it in there motor

The cams in the XB's are perfect, I wouldnt mess with them. Redshift is the name of the cam company that makes cams for the XB's.

i heard that from a tech guy who has several versions of power adders for the evo moto, from mild to wild 1475 bid bore kit 5000$ to cams 399$ he said with the right tuning hes seen 10 -12 hp gain


tho as i no hp isnt everything but in this case im thinking u could put it in the right areas to fit ur needs

Not too long ago I was looking at doing a 1050 with stage 2 head prep and a cam on my xb9. The guy tech that I talked to said that it would add somewhere around 20whp to my bike. The cost was ~3k. Not really sure what it would do with 12 though.

i just did a cryogenic 2nd n 3rd gear and cryo sycros
i didnt put it in the car yet ,but the crazy [part is that i still have the same feeling about it ,it cant handle the power even after the upgrades to the trans

dallas i spoke to that company when i was craving more power for my bike , i wasnt impressed with the hp gains from tthe 1250 kit or the 1475 kit they offer and keep in mind the bigger you go the less reliable it becomes


1250 kit was a 7-15 hp gain. close to 3000$
1475 kit was 125 total hp 5000$
