I personally like my ADV bikes on the smaller, dual-sport, end of the spectrum. Even larger examples, like the Uly & GS, I think do better with twin-cylinder engines, so I'm not sure how well this new Beemer will do off-road with its I-4 superbike motor. Nonetheless, taking DOT equipment inappropriately far away from slab is what DS-ing is all about so I'm excited to see it come to market!
