Both my bolts are 03's, the venom stands work on both of them. It literally takes me less than thirty seconds to completely raise either bike. I'm no mrlogix but I'm pretty sure all bolts had the same main frame and swing arm......only swing arms that are different on Xb's are the longs I believe. I got both of them brand new to the door for $79 if I'm not mistaken.

Right on Chicago, thanks. Boy we learn something new everyday. I would have never guessed the swing arms were different. Well at least you didn't buy them and get stuck w em. Good job on the info dig up, hopefully saved some guys w later year bolts some aggravation.

I have a set of venom stands that I use on my 06 xb12ss there work just fine!

Even though it doesn't show it in this pic the rear raises about an inch to an inch and a half depending where I put them. I've been using the front fork attachments and shop towels to keep them from scratching the swing arm. The paddles would make it have more rise height but I'm cheep and haven't bought them yet.

I have venom stands, with the paddle paddock adapters and triple tree adapter, works great. The rear was a bit narrow, but I just pulled them apart a bit

Lol AZmidget91 I swear I've seen that pic in one of my early post about stands.:eagerness: Yep all you have to do is gently bend them out just ever so slightly to make them work.

DSHUMAKER, well this question gets brought up quite often. And that is my favorite pic of the bike on stands. I have many more, since I use them a lot.

I have TREX front and back, great quality and I have no problems trusting them while working on the bike or even sitting on it.

I went out on a limb and tried the venom stands, I'd never trust them to hold my bike for any period of time unless they were reinforced. For minor work (oil changes, belt check etc) they're fine. I nearly had an anxiety attack leaving my 1125 up for 5 minutes on them. I returned them the next day. Although I will say I still have the triple tree adapter. Makes an excellent coat hanger/self defense weapon.

I also have a HF rear stand for when my other stands are tied up. It's actually ok. I had to spread it to get the 1125 to fit, but other than that it's actually a decent piece.

I don't have spools on half of my bikes, I just use some bar-stock and rubber tubes through the axles to lift on.

I know it does midget I asked same question several months back when I was first getting started lol that's why I saved
my pic too. I've used the venom stands on every bike I own and am thankful you recommend them. Thank you kind sir!! OK Chicago you never explained why you think I should get another ecm in my ecmspy finally post? just curious if you feel the need hit me up on that post.

I trust my venom stands. The picture I posted was when my wheels were being powder coated and I was out of town for a week. So it sat on there for about 2 weeks. I have sat on the bike while on the stands. I have had my girlfriend in the bike holding the brake while I push down in a breaker bar to remove the primary gears. I trust these stands.

I trust it. we have good roads, but I ride over train tracks a a very rough patch of road every day. Not to mentions wheelies all the time. No issues yet, and don't plan on it.

Also, the parts aren't in the oven for long enough to even get case hardened, and not quite hot enough either. If left in the oven for hours, maybe, but still not hot enough to truly effect the hardness.

I also have the venom stands and love them. The only issue is I got a Uly now and the front one doesnt quite reach. Im building some wood blocks to raise them off the ground a bit this winter.
