Hopefully this link works for other people to click on. It's just a rough draft, but pretty much what I'd do if it was just me. I'm completely open to opinions....

It just goes from my neighborhood right past Thompson run/Vilsack where we can pick up Johnny, That detour up in cranberry is right about where Sandro lives, then we can just get back on the route and head up. Sounds like the only time reference is Sandro who'd be about ready to meet around 11 so I'd probably shoot to leave the city around 9:30-9:45.

Sidewinder and anyone else, let me know if you guys want to meet up anywhere on the way. I don't know where anyone else lives.
 
I am getting to Butler from State College, probably around 11, and going to start riding basically as soon as I get home, so my plan is to go to New Castle around noon, and then go to Zanottis from there. Hopefully I can meet some of you guys at either place, and I would really like to hear a Hawk to see if I really wanna go with the D & D instead. Hope to see some of you guys this weekend.
 
It's looking pretty definite that I'll be along for at least some of the ride. :D

I'm good for around 11 in Cranberry for those of you that were driving up through.
 
I've got a hawk as well, but mine is an xb9, so it sounds slightly different. This is how mine will look, for anyone who happens to be there. Only difference is some black handlebars and it's got the normal suspension instead of the lowered stuff. It'll be parked with the blue bike above though, so it's not like we'll be hard to pick out haha

Maser, we'll be just about an hour from new castle hd when we're at 50dro's house. We're gonna meet there at 11 so the time we get there will pretty much just depend on how long we're at his house before we take off again. I'm sure if you can stick around a little while you'll run into us.
 
I'm starting to get jealous now, wish I could go. We'll have to plan another ride soon. I'd like to ride with a bunch of other Lightnings :D

That black one looks slick! We'll definitely plan another ride soon because there's a couple people that can't make this one. I've been trying to get to my sisters in DC for a weekend and was worried that I'd actually by the one who had to miss out on a big group ride.
 
Sidewinder: what area are you coming from? Would you be able to meet us for some of the ride up, or would you just meet us at one of the dealerships? I'll be leaving the city, then there will be a meet up in north hills, if Sandro comes we'll meet him in cranberry and head north, so we can meet anyone anywhere a long the way. It'd be great to have 4-5 people before we got up there.

I live in Blawnox. Just 15 mins down Rt. 28 from Pgh. I can hit Millvale no problem. Maybe meet in the Grant St. Bar & Grill parking lot? It'll give me a chance to get my rear tire worn in a bit before hitting to many curves. Although, I heard that the Sportmax Q2 breaks in really fast.

looking at this i was thinking I could meet you at the 7/11 right at the bottom of vilsack where it meets thompson run...what do you think?
 
7/11 sounds good Johnny. That one is just a convenience store, not a gas station, right? I'll make sure I remember to fill up in Millvale.

Grant street bar parking lot sounds fine to me too. I don't know where it that is, but Grant Ave isn't very long so it can't be hard to find. I'll send you guys a PM with my phone number incase anything changes or you have any questions. I'm thinking I'll just get there at 9:30 and then we can take our time.

Sidewinder, you'll have to let us know how you think your tires will hold up. I had some twistier roads right out of millvale, nothing we have to speed down, but if you'd rather stick to straighter roads for the first part of the ride we can adjust it.
 
Yep just a convenience store...its on the left if you are coming up thompson run from babcock...right after you past vilsack road
 
Sounds good guys, Ill try to get my group to stay at New Castle untill we some more Buells haha. Im sure Ill see someone.

This my pretty bone stock bike, Ill be with my brothers and dad on their cruisers though.

Sandro also has 2 friends coming, one on a buell and the other on an R1, so it sounds like we'll have 6 Buells and an R1, unless we find anyone else who wants to come along, but I can't think of any other forum members from Pittsburgh who haven't already seen this.
 
Alright guys, it's late enough that I'm gonna throw out final plans.

9:30 meet at the Grant bar & Lounge (also right by the Family Dollar and Subway). There's a gas station a block down the street in case you guys need to fuel up

9:50ish we'll meet John at the at 7/11 @ Thompson run/Vilsack

11:00 meet Sandro and a few others at his house. From there we'll head straight new NC HD. It's a little more than an hour from his house so what time we get there will depend on how long we hang around there.

Right now I'll just be looking for Sk8ace and Sidewinder. If anyone else wants to come just let me know so we know to wait around for you, I'll check here before I leave. Send me a PM if you need my phone number!

It'll only be 50 degrees at 9:30 so wear a few layers! Looks like it's gonna warm up quick though.
 
I have an oil leak somewhere up by my heads, my engine is covered.. fan is soaked.. gonna get up early and work on it. If I can't find/fix it, I might have to cancel.. I will text you either way.

You're only about an hour and a half from Millvale! Hop on the highway at 7am and you should make it! If not we'll just meet you there :D

I will be right with you seeing as I only have about 250 miles logged on the Buell and 300 on the street period. :D You could say I am an expert
