Gun is used and has wear on it from riding in a holster for 4 years but is in very good condition. More pictures upon request. Call Travis if interested 253-677-8940.

I would take your rounds and clips, but im guessing you want to sell it as a package deal. Why you getting rid of your XD? I just picked up my XD40 subcompact and love it.

Nice pic, but I'll pass, only because I already have a Taurus .40 At this point I try only to have one gun in any particular caliber.

Thaloc, your right it's a great gun and I've loved shooting it and carrying, but I'm going to a 9mm Glock. Yes it's going as a package deal, it'll be hard to sell with out mags otherwise they'd be yours. Also for clarification, they are magazines. Clips are used to load magazines or rifle. Such as an M1 Garand.

Odin, I appreciate you spreading love, thank you.

Are you getting the Glock for home defense? Have you considered Hydrashock rounds? It really addreses wall penetration so the 'badguy' gets it, not your neighbor.

I'm getting the Glock for all forms of defense. I carry a gun almost everywhere I go. With VERY FEW exceptions.

I don't like Hydrashocks, or hollow points in general, in a home because if it hits a wall the hollow tip gets filled with drywall and acts like a full metal jacket and punches through things really easily. The EFMJ is an expanding full metal jacket, so it basically flattens out the front creating a larger surface for the same purpose as hollow points. There have been a lot of studies and something like less than 10% of hollow points have expanded when shooting a person due mostly to clothing filing the void and it not getting the hydraulic action it needs. The EFMJ is the answer to that because it doesn't need hydraulics to expand. Which is part if where the name Hydroshock comes from. All hollow points need hydraulics to expand though, not just the Hyrdoshocks. Cor Bon makes a Pow'r Ball that works with the same idea as EFMJ but has a "rubber" tip that pushes inside the hollow point to expand it on anything it hits.

Yea I got a box of 50 of those powerballs when I bought my XD on the advice of one of my local gun shop owners. I just want a round that will stop the douche burgler and not hit one of my neighbors kids. I ran all Hydroshocks in my Glock 27 But have kept a full mag of Powerballs in my XD since I got it. Iv loved all my Glocks but just really wanted something that didnt feel so "toy-ish" but not a 30lb S&W. Im really impressed.

Thats exactly what my XD looks like, only in the 40 cal, and with the 12 round mag. I love Subcompacts

The EFMJ ammo is very effective as when it flattens it functions the same as a flat nose hunting round the bigger the flat tip called a "meplat" the more cavitation caused by the passing of the round and the bigger the perminant cavity. I'll save the rest of my gun posts for the firing line.

bravo boardsnbikes... clips load from the top and magizines load from the bottom.

Thaloc, look into frangible ammo. They have bullets that are basically copper powder kind of glued and pressed together so that when it hits something it falls apart, more or less. Great for home defense.

Swatmedic, just trying to share the knowledge.

Well depending on how pay goes, and if this thing is sold by the time i can afford it. I'll hit ya up.

bordsnbikes look at the extremeshock air freedom round. It sounds as if it were made for your concerns. They make it in most calibers. I'll be purchasing some in 45acp and 380acp soon.

ShawnB, I totally understand money situations, that's how the buyer I found fell through. Hope it works out for both of us. Give me a call when you know for sure.

That's very much like the frangible ammo. I am interested in the plastic tip and the copper jacket. It doesn't look like it would disintegrate on impact. But the obvious cliche, don't judge a book by it's cover. It sounds like they designed it specifically for air marshals which I think is excellent. But, like the military, I hope they aren't trying to replace training with technology. The Army is spending tons on a new weapon with ammo that explodes after a certain distance. If they give us more ammo and training time we wouldn't need that. But they skimp on the ammo thinking that a newer, better weapon will fix it. Air marshals have some of the most strict requirements, at least as far as shooting skills, of anything out side of legit sniper qualification. For very obvious reasons, if you miss you could hit another person or punch through the skin and royally screw things up. So hopefully they keep the qualification standards and adopt something like that, for the ace up the sleeve instead of relying on that as a crutch. Very good find though, I am definitely gonna check that out, thank you.
