Spent part of last evening perusing some HD corporate history and production numbers, when I stumbled upon an incredibly macabre and obscure fact regarding the death of an American icon. One of the greatest and most beloved guitarists' in music history was killed in a horrific helicopter crash in August of 1990. Where? Less than 1000 yards away from the Buell manufacturing facility on Buell Drive, East Troy, WI.
