Looked into buying a different hugger for my bike as the original is so huge but went with the chop for now. Tried to do it a little different to what I've seen other do, what do you think?

Looks better, but never cared much for the Shark fin tire hugger;smirk]

Did close to the same thing originally on my old Firebolt before I decided to drop the whole thing.

Looks good, but my $.2 is to follow the line from the tire hugger all the way down. It would flow a little better.

Looks clean they way it is though.

Clean enough! I'm not inclined to completely remove the hugger, so that's pretty good.

Hey, what kind of tool did you use to cut it? I like the look - might have to follow suit!

I did mine with a copping saw and then sanded, intend on taking more from above tyre first bit was a bit of a test

Looks good, but I dont like to ride the brake while in a full tuck.

Smart ass Dave, that was probably 2 weeks after I started riding and was almost as clueless as I am know about bikes:p

AusXB12ss keep me posted if you chop more off your hugger. If it looks good I'll do the same, thanks.

That is excellent, thanks. I think I'm gonna do the same, apart from the belt guard bit which I've already done.
