With all the sizes of tools out there now I have a question.
It seems lots of things are now metric, ecpecially overseas.
So do the euros have metric ratchets to match up with the metric sockets or do they only make standard ratches? I just think it odd that everyone is going metric but our(USA) ratchets are all still standard. 1/4,3/8,1/2 and so on.
Kind of funny to imagine the euros going to buy a socket set and it contain metric sockets with an American standard size ratchet.

I don't know, maybe it is too early and I am in need of more coffee.

Things like this keep me up at night. joking :D

No, same ratchets, they just mark them 12.7mm, 9.5mm and 6.3mm.

Our .50 Cal ammo when sold overseas is also marked 12.7mm

and you thought that was a odd question. [up]

LOL!!!! Never gave this a thought until you brought it up! Makes sense to me maybe only because to many years of third shift. I will be thinking about this for the next couple of days! Thanks alot Lesley! That wouldn't be followed by Nielson by chance?
