Hey gents,

As a Christmas present, I received 4 things for my 2009 1125R.

1.) a Kick-Ash Airbox cover- looks great!
2.) 5-0 Dro Axel Sliders- awesome product!
3.) Smoked Tail light with integrated blinkers from XBlights.net- still waiting on it!

And 4.) low voltage coming around more and more often.

I would like to give thanks when they are needed, so here it is: Thanks to RT Performance for sending me a stator, a manual, and paying for the shipping for next to nothing. I greatly appreciate it! RT Performance is a great person to deal with, and an all-around great person! So I have the stator in my posession, and have Custom Rewind in mind. The problem is, after multiple voice-mails and calls, I get no response.

I just want to get the stator fixed and replaced before I ship. Any suggestions or advise would be great! Thanks ahead of time!

Ride Safe,
ATF

Congrats on the gifts! You must have been a good boy since Santa took care of you. Yeah, RT is a heck of a guy. Very knowledgable and always willing give advice and help when he can. I am very thankful for him as he has helped me on many issues.

For the stator, just right a check for $140 and send it with the stator to Gary at Custom Rewind. He's a really busy guy and I have to call back 3 or 4 times to get hold of him. He has a lot going on at his shop. Send your stator to him with a $140 check; include the year, make, and model of your bike and he'll git'r done. Turn around is decent too.

at this point ATF drop the 850 and get the EBR kit.....how many times are you going to rewind?

Thanks For the [up].

Gary was likely shut down for the holidays.
Alot on places in NC where all but boarded up from xmas to new years.

I would just rewind it.
Also would keep an eye on ebay now the demand for 2008 stators has dropped over the next year or so they will be popping up until then u can have one ready to go.
My rewind went 5k not sure how much you ride a year.

We came through my last ride on my 1125r when i traded it and it made me sad .
Dam i loved that bike and still miss it.

No problem, RT! I appreciate your input! I will rewind it with Gary, but I will eventually be buying the EBR kit when I get back from NJ. Ride safe!

I've put nearly 2800 miles on my stator rewind thus far. Everything is going smooth, knock on wood! Gary is top notch and he'll take good care of ya.

how long will a 09 stator last w/harness

I have over 6k miles on the bike, and this is the first time going out. Some people have them go out at 5k miles, others at 10k, and others not even at 30k. It's hit or miss.

i only have 1,200 miles i hate the feeling that it could go out in B.F.E. im going the ebr way.
