I have an 08 ScG. I believe my stator took a shit today. I haven't had time to break out my service manual & check it yet but I'm about 95% certain it's the stator. My question is to the guys who have replaced their stator. Did you use an OEM stator or an aftermarket? Thanks in advance for your help!

What symptoms do you have?

You can quickly verify if your stator's bad by checking resistance across the coils with a multimeter. A good stator will show no continuity (∞ohms) across all stator sockets and ground.

If you replace it, keep in mind that the OEM design has changed & the grommet/rivet assembly won't clear the XB rotor. You can either file the new one down a bit to fit, or re-use the pieces off the old stator.
