stator rotor mod

Ya I have the MOSFET vr too. Well I have my mechanic putting in the stator and rotor now so I will be keeping my 09 stator and rotor. When I have the cash ill order a ebr rotor and ill send of my 09 stator to ricks I already talk to them. But I won't be putting that in my bike till my 08 stuff goes bad. That isy plan at least.
 
I just got my stator back from Rick's. Looks very good. Mechanic said it should be up and running before the weekend.

got mine done over the weekend. broke, no cash and looking into a keda exhaust and a steering damper
 
Nice Texas. So what are you driving now if your selling your CR?

And I got all the parts I need to put the 08 stator and rotor in. My bike is at my machanic now. Should have it hopefully by the end of the week. Guess I just have to take my harley to bike night tomorrow! Damnnnn haha
 
Just reread this thread because I'm really bored at work and air traffic is slow at the moment and saw my *******/airheaded comment like 3 posts into it.... I think my hand juuuust about broke the sound barrier heading directly towards my face.... =/
 
UPDATE: I got bike back and put about 100 miles on it. The voltage is showing from 13.6-14.1 volts from 3000rpm to around 6000rpm. Its running normal on temp guage (around 175-190 depending on driving) and feels great. My labor cost was $205 but gave the mechanic $220. I sent back my Rotor Core to EBR so Im getting $250 back, I think.

Total was:

EBR Rotor Upgrade $425 minus core of $250=$175.
Rick's Re-Wire 240 degree wire $165
TTY Rotor Nut $18
EBR Rotor tool $65
Stator Case Gasket $14
New Voltage Regulator-(Not used, keeping as spare) $135
Labor $205

Total $777.00

AND it rides like a scolded dog,lol...
 
Damn that's awesome to hear that. Not to be a downer I just got mine back yesterday putting an 08 stator rotor in it and it chargered fine cold then once it got hot quit charging again! Then it did something new coming home from gas station at the bottom on my drive way it wouldn't idle and died I had to start it again it was currently reading 14.1 at the time it did that but the interment cluster wasn't lighten up the whole time and said comp err
