Stator stamped 23/08

While digging in the engine I took a look at the stator in my 09 cr, on the side its stamped 23/08 is this a indication of a 08 stator or just a number that happends to be stamped on the metal? I was reading that some of the early 09 1125's came with the better 08 stator. Im not having any charging issues just curious

How many poles on the stator? That's what will tell you if it's the 08 or 09 version.

Didnt think about that, Its all sealed back up now so unless it decides to crap out ill just leave it be. Thanks for the help!
