I'm looking at the picture of a bike and noticed that there is a steering damper with an lsl crash pad. I also have the same crash pad set up and i was wondering if there is any issue with the clearance when the wheel is turned. It looks as though it is a Storz damper kit too. I have been trying to figure out if i could have these two things together and not have any problems. I want to put a storz or custom set up on my firebolt but i am concerned with the clearance issue. This is on ozzie84 s bike. If someone could give me some input on this i would appreciate it thanks.

rider,

post the pic of the bike you saw in your topic, cause most of us don't have a clue what you're talking about.

and also, you know you can ask several questions concerning the steering damper in 1 topic, right?
if others have the same questions and do a search, they will now have to many topics to go through to find their answer.

for the clearance issue, you need to measure...all depend on what kind of damper you choose.
if you don't have one, go for the gpr one since it's a much nicer & easier setup

so the clearance is in the height.
should be ok aslong as you fit it above the lower fork clamp...downside will be that your damper is 100% aligned.
