The stabilizer has 20 positions, 1 being little dampening 20 being lots. I test drove it first on 5 and it was too much. I liked 1 and when I get use to it I may go to 5 or so. The faster you go the more damning you need. The GPR appears to be high quality, it mounts very well. I paid $500 for it (the price of a used Honda) and got it from the GPR factory.

I think this is by far the best looking option for the buell and by hearing what you got to say it sounds like the damper I'm going to purchase ($500 is pricey though). Thanks for the info Blackdog.[up]

Looks nice!

Bikes that does not carry the original 21 degree angle can probably not use these since the attachement point might not work. The angle for the lever(arm) will be wrong and attachment point (in the frame) probably won't fit (looks like it anyway).
So, those of you that us Free Spirits trail kit (give the bike an angle of 23 degrees) should probably avoid this steering stabilizer.

nice very nice!!![up] I asked that shop around the house about geting one and they said they could get me one for my xb12s for 380 plus tax.. Only question would it fit under the bars of the s?

they probably do as they have them listed for both S and R models. Only thing is it will probably not work for Ss long, STT, Uly and the raked S and R models. That is, those that has the Free Spirits trail kit at their bike.
What is also interesting is for those that use aftermarket handlebars. For example Crossroads Performance bars and all "cafe racer" versions. I wonder if the R model stabilzer works at these bars. A steering stabilizer should be original at R and especially S models. The more aggressive geometry at the bike, fork angle, the more use of these we have.
According to a dealer the 1125R wobble extremely much around 250Km/h - and over. They also ment that the 1125R should absolutely have a steering stabilzer as original.
