bringing a 2007 xb9r from the u.s.a. to canada I need a stock muffler to get the bike safety in canada... does anyone know where I could get one. just using it for safety and getting rid of it, I would borrow someone's pay for shipping there and back and give you some cash for helping me thanks motosteve

What’s on it now for a muffler? If the OE part is no longer available how do you get inspections done?

Damn oops but I still am curious about safety inspections requirements for older vehicles two and more wheeled ones. In Washington non stock mufflers are not legal on any motorcycle but enforcement is up to the officers discretion when you are pulled over. But on a “classic” with limited use collector plates it is exempt. So when stock or “oe” replacement part are not available anymore who do you call?
