stock plugs vs iridium

not trying to thread jack but has anyone tried the E3 with diamond fire technology? they say it is supposed to be better than all the rest (but what company doesn't say that right?) with horsepower gains and better fuel economy.

awsome! i just changed my plugs last week, and just picked up some stock ones because i was going past the dealer and they were fairly cheap, kinda glad now!

i just researched the e3's seem to make similar claims to split fires... went through some comments on a site seem split between yeah they help some and no help but very frequently people who were nay sayers complained of missing and consistent fouling so I would stick with an ngk for reliability... but by all means try em and let us know;)

I am no dyno tech or anything, but the more runs you make, doesnt each run post less hp numbers than the previous? Is it feasible that if the Iridiums were used in the first 5 runs and the stock ones in the last 5 that the Iridiums would have posted higher numbers. Just wondering....

it depends how you do it.. if you do 10 runs 1 right after another the bike can get heat washed and the numbers could be lower... if you break.. and stop for awhile or put a fan on the bike to cool the motor back down.. it dosent have to be freezing cold but colder DOES help.

but the thing that people say the plugs do is keep the motor running cooler so if thats the case after u stop on the dyno to switch them and let the bike cool for awhile.. and fire the bike up, it should put the same kind of thing as before..

i wont disagree that they last longer or dont foul out as much.. i dont know i only ran them for a short period of time. so they could last longer then stock plugs and they could also keep the bike cooler.. i dont know for a fact. im just showing you the results after a day of dyno tuning so people could see it if there skeptical.
