OK I've done some searching but cant find what I'm looking for so here goes, how long should the sprockets on our bikes last(aproximate miles) wanting to pick up a spare belt while I can still get one. 03 xb9sl, thanks

Forever? Theyre not like chain sprockets; chains are metal, are belt is rubber. Nothing about the hardness of rubber is going to wear down our sprockets in any time.

Thanks thats about what I thought but had to ask.I thought I had read some threads that said when the coating/chrome wore or chipped it was time to replace.we have similar setups at work that run 3500 fpm 24/7, somtimes a belt will go but cant remember changing a sprocket. thanks godzilla
