For those of you that have this seat, Is it more comfortable that the stocker? The stock seat is quiet painful if going for more than a few miles.[mad]

Got one, love it. Longest I have been on it in a day is 335 miles, little ass burn but not bad.

Same here longest trip so far was 310 miles and had some ass burning but the two seats are not even compairable.

Buy one you won't regret it.

I love mine in comparison. I rode comfortably for 4 hours saturday. 3 hours sunday and 8 hours monday. My butt hurt at about the 5-6 hour mark then it started raining. Just down hill from there.

It's not a magic seat but you will definitely see the difference.

Will the Streetfighter seat fit the Scg model?
Also, I was thinking about the SaddleGel seat. It's advertised as a long range comfort seat. Can anyone give some feedback on their experience with this seat?

When I bought my bike, it already had the Streetfighter seat on it. It looks great, but since I didn't have the pleasure of trying a stock seat, I've been looking for one to try.

On longer rides, I don't think there is enough space on the Streetfighter for my big butt as I notice it starts to bother me.

I used to have a corbin on my Katana before becoming a Bueller, so I may be somewhat spoiled. However, on my XB9 have had the stock low seat (painful, but good reach), the streetfighter (more comfortable, looks great w/the pegasus, but lost my reach), went to a select seat (even more comfortable w/gel inserts, better reach but still not like the stock low seat). All in all, I would save my pennies and jump on the select seat.

I've already installed it on my bike. I like it pretty good. There's no major difference but I think it was worth what i paid. It looks way better IMHO. The reason I bought it was because I found a good deal on ebay. I still have the stock seat if i feel like I wanna go more aggressive.

my bike had the low seat on it when i bought it to be put up forsale soon.
I bought a select seat for my 800 mile ride i was not impressed better padding than the low but still awful firm for my thin a$$
I just bought the 07 tall seat from a friend waiting for it to get here.
Side note i had an adhesive issue with the select seat and it being returned

Any thoughts on the Select vs. Streetfighter in terms of comfort and ride height? Definitely need something for long ride coming up, but dont really want to go any higher.
