how are you enjoying the bike...what bikes did you own before

hhhmmm let's see 1968 honda scramble, 1977 125-s honda, 2001 drz400s suzuki, 2001 650sv suzuki, a few newer dirt bikes, 2003 sportster, 2006 sportster and a couple of other's. but when i got the stt i just lost interest in the rest. i put 7300 miles on and it's not even a year old yet! i wanted the stt for the suspension, it's perfect for my neck of the wood's (indiana country road's suck) i drive 40 minute commute to work, (one way) and i'm so pleased with this bike. what do you have?

The 09 Ss is now on the STT suspension. So you basically get an STT already set for 2 up riding and w/o that ugly (imo) off road fender and no handgaurds.

yes the fender is ugly, i can't wait to replace mine. the 09 Ss is a good idea!

captain like yoursel had many bikes...last two where a flh with 113 motor ... after 13 years sold it and bought a 06 vmax rode it for 10 months almost 8000 miles ,,,then went down on the highway....i walked away max is a total...vmax is and was a nice bike ....always likes the buells ... but at 6.2 the few times i sat on the then felt too small...i always rode bikes over 600 pounds... not looking for the fastest machine in the world..at one time i did...just want something that has enough power to keep it fun
