Stunt Cage Feeler.

So I got this Powers Stuntworx cage for my Bolt, and its just to heavy for me. I do more twisties than stunting so I figure might as well let it go to someone who will get some use out of it.

I bought it used off Ebay, and I can tell its been used( I.E. crashed on) but there are no bends or cracks, just scratches/scrapes that I can see. Nothing some paint or powder coating couldn't fix. Also I never even mounted them and they came with none of the mounting hardware, not that some nuts and bolts should be too hard to get ahold of.

Each one weighs 20 lbs easily, and its two piece set that locks together behind the forks.

Im thinking $100+ shipping, but all offers are welcome.

As long as it comes with the necassary lower mounting bracket that fits around the frame as I remember it sandwiches to the lower section of the frame. I will do $120 shipped.

No, they did not come with the bracket that fits behind the frame(im guessing). What I got is what was shown in the picture above. Iv been trying to get ahold of them about what mounting hardware I need.. I should be/hopefully be getting a call back today.

I was about to buy one new but decided against it as I figured it would destroy my bike since it would lead to me doing more and more stunts.

Let me know about the brackets and hardware, if you can get that I would be willing to pay a little more.

They are sposed to be supplying me a parts list in an email and said the only modification needed to be done was a notch cut into the plastics below the seat to fit the upper frame mounting bolt.

Once the email is delivered I will post it here.

Also do you still have those stock 12R mirrors? if so wanna works something out with those in exchange for these?

You still need mirrors? I know I have the 1" extended '04+ mirrors, if you wanted those in trade with cash for the cage.

My mirrors are just the stock mirrors but compaired to the '03 they are longer as far as an '08 they are they same.

The parts list really doesn't mean anything to me since I don't know what the back clamp that always the cage to squeeze to the lower section of the frame unless that is the buell rubber pads.

ya me either. I sent them another email for further info and the price of their hardware mounting kit. All that **** can be picked up at a hardware store minus the "2 large buell rubber pads" So Im not sure either.

the cage works it just that the 7/16 bolts break after a while. powers just sent me an updated version of there cage along with free axle spools.

if you want pics on how it mounts let me know, btw im makin a sub cage for the buell , once im done i may produce a couple if anyone is interested.

no the sub cage goes where the back pegs are. it reinforeces the sub frame. il put up a pic on how the cage mounts, and where i am in makin the sub cage.

I have a design in my head for a rear cage as well just need to get over to my buddies and make it.

Mine will retain the rear pegs and brackets but protect the entire tail section.

My design is very simple multi-functional and clean.

I want to make one for the Lightning and one for the Firebolt.
Just keep putting it off.

im allmost done with mine. just need to go to the muffler shop and have them bend a pipe for me.

Hey it is $70.00 bucks for the hardware that is INCLUDING the Mushroom Sliderz. If you didn't want the sliderz it would be $35.00

Thats from the email they sent me. Also since looking at Focks pics I noticed something on the one I have.

I think either this bracket broke on them or it didnt originally come on the one I have, but they welded a new bracket in its place. You can tell cuzz the welds dont flow with the rest of the cage. Ill get some pics once im home.

Anyhow how do u want to do this? Ill take off the cost of the mounting hardware($35). I think these "Sliderz" are extensions of the hard sliders. Here are some pics they sent me.
