just came across this article on EBR

https://in.news.yahoo.com/erik-buell-racing-gets-another-114615602.html?.tsrc=inucbr

I can't beleive the audacity of these scumbags. "The first investment comes from Indian bike maker, Hero MotoCorp, who already owns a significant 49% share in the company. Having already shelled out $25 million, Hero is pouring a further $2.8 million to acquire EBR’s consulting business assets and R&D, which were in the process of developing new models for Hero."

If they would have pais the first $25M Erik wouldn't be in this position. Since the EBR entity no longer technically exists, I guess they are off the hook. Chief of Smoke-call for fire, bring the steel rain....

John: two years ago when the vast majority of board members were all a gaga over this Buell/Hero alliance....i offered up an opinion that not only are Indian businessmen not to be trusted...but that their tactics and practices are ruthless as well. i took a bit of a pounding over that statement with one board guy(ken)even insinuating something anti-Indian and racial behind my comment. now you can readily see why i said what i said.

Most if not all of those business practices were learned from US-based company policy and practice. Using the qualifier "Indian" is pointless.

Once again John you are correct. I have had some experience in dealing with engineers from India. I am having a hell of a time on a project right now with one trying to cover his ass at everybody else's expense. Going to get ugly.

Lotusexcelle- your probably right, but I am an old Jarhead and still have faith in Americans. I have traveled around the world both in the military and as a civilian for work. Things go wrong, but I have a hard time excusing what more and more looks like a deception from the get go.

so then administering your logic regarding my statement the following would be true?
1-my new (make and model left blank so as not to offend) bike is using oil like a pig.
2-i hate flying out of(airport name and locale left blank as not to offend) and avoid it at all costs.

The photo has a distorted aspect ratio, and there is an obvious lack of grammatical proofreading in the third paragraph. The article doesn't seem to have good journalistic standards.
