Stuttering around 4k in 4th and 5th

I am having problems with my 04 xb12s. It will stutter and fall on its face around 4k. I notice it the most in 4th and 5th gear when just cruising down the highway. If I go easy on the throttle it will get jumpy but I can throttle past the rough spot.

I put the bike back to stock maps thinking I had a problem there. Race map has been on the bike for a year. FYI

I did get a o2 sensor code a few weeks ago but bike was running fine so I cleared it.

Sound like the o2 is the problem?

if you got a 02 code i would prob start there.

Forgot to add bike has 4500 miles

ok dumb ? but when did you do plugs last? Our buells like to have to plugs! seemed my Buell x1 did this when i had crap HD plugs.

do you have alot of idle time on that set? do u know what plugs u put in? If it was me i would prob put in a new set of plugs, o2 sensor and a tps reset.

Tps reset was the first thing I tried. ngk 8es plugs I believe. Not much idle time at all. Grass doesnt grow under my tires. LoL
