I've been looking at putting a hypercharger on my bke after I seen some pics of it done. I don't suspect it will do anything for performance but I think they do look badA33! I'm thinking of going with the black one. Just don't know how the Hypercharger works. Does anyone know if there is a filter in side the unit it self?

Thanks BPG people just weren't understanding what we were saying about the hypercharger. All it is people is an air filter set up and that is it.

Now that Turbo Bolt above is just down right insane.

Yes the Hypercharger has a K&N style filter in it. The butterflys are actuated by engine vacuum.

i was thinkin something along the lines of a ford probe turbo and a lil bit of custom piping will work sense a probe turbo only pushes about 2 or 3 lbs of boost you shouldnt have to do ne thing to the motor maybe a thicker set of head gaskets no biggy

the Aerocharger unit for Harleys (no different for the Buell) runs 8-12 lbs of boost and requires no 'beefing up' of the motor.

seems like it wouldnt hold up with that much boost but in one article the guy says somethig about a cam that they supply to run with this aerocharger for certain bikes which makes more sense im gointo look more into this because i am building a totaly custom street bike out of my 12r and i wanted to strap a ford probe turbo on it but now theres this and if its not all lies i will be purchasing one and will deffinitly send in a report of who what where when why and how

Do you have any hp or torque specs for that turbo set-up njsxb9? That's sweet. If so post them.Also how much for the kit.What kind of boost?

First pic was one of these, they stick em on big twins. I've used one, load of garbage, dint do squat. Its just a fancy air-filter.

The response on my ‘Supercharger’ question is awesome, the turbo setup of the Lightning is way-out and looks great. The guys her at our Harley shops [South Africa] recon that the ‘crank setup’ of the Buell is to ‘soft’ and the motor will not last, event with limited boost. Is there anybody that can give us some positive and reliable report on the crack/conrod/piston/cylinderhead setup. I do not want to ’blow’ my 12ss motor

What experience do anyone have on the extension of the ‘flyscreen’. I have extended my flyscreen with approx 14 cm and what a surprising result. Not only do the Buell look different but the aerodynamics of the bike improved considerably, I can not with ease sit upright at 200 and enjoy the ride, The fuel consumption is slightly better, around 16km/l on the average speed of 160, but who cares, at that speed nothing matters.

any hd/buell shops worth visiting?

when installing a supercharger, you need to reinforce the engine, which is a costly thing.
and even then, i would not advise it for a daily rider. for this you need to open her up regularly and measure out everything to see if nothing has been damaged and needs fixing.
