I have posted a couple of times about this...But heres another.....

I personally can't get my head around this suspension adjustment stuff....i understand HOW to do the adjustment but for me its what i am feeling and trying to understand what to do to make any changes.
If i hit a semi sharp curve at a decent speed it feels like the bike wants to slide/wobble...can't tell if its the back end or front.....i have put a tie wrap around the front fork and went out and rode as hard as i could at my level and the tie ended up nearly half way between the bottom and top of the fork....i have played with the tire pressures and i am running 30 front and 28 rear...suspension is set up for the 210 to 230 range.
Any of you experienced riders make any sense of this???
How would a hard set up feel and what would a soft set up be like.
Finding i can't ride the bike how i would like due to the pucker facter kicking and i know it has to do with the suspension.
Thanks for your time reading this and any help would be gratfuly received.
Cheers
Justin

how clost to buell spec is your set up? what year/model? and what tires (brand/compound/size)?

also where in the corner to you feel the slide/wobble? entry/mid/exit? and do you feel it at the handle bars or in the seat of your pants? where do you fall in the 210-230 range (lbs not kilo)

Ok, got home and set up as spec in the book then adjusted to increase by 1/2 turn on rebound and compression ... took it out but not far enough to notice...traffic sucks in Vegas.
Running an XB12S 2005 on those crap dunlops that came with the bike 208 supermax...waiting for them to wear out to get pilot 2CTs, i'm about 215 to 220 depending on what i am wearing for the ride.
The wobble was entering the curve and in the butt and front ends.
Thanks for the response.

I would try 35psi front and 38psi rear and back out your compression 1/2 turn and rebound 1/4-1/2 turn from buell spec, make sure you do both sides of your forks equal. this SHOULD give you a more stable and confident feel on entry, let me know if it helps

also try to use your weight to start the turn rather than your arms
